No, I didn't chicken out.....

I made it here safe and sound. Woke up at 5:35 am CST (yikes) and have been going ever since.

Kids are funny. Jonah likes to watch himself in the mirror and act tough. He also likes to hit things with this big plastic bat of his in the backyard while he's searching for possible dog turds that his dad missed picking up. Everything was, "Oh I found some poop over here!!" It was a pile of leaves. Easy mistake.

Alaina so far is very content to play Polly Pockets at the table.

Annelise is still at science club and won't be home for another hour.

All in all, this parenting thing isn't so bad, you just need a POT of coffee and an imagination. So far. This is only day one, after all. oh, and Jonah is still napping... so yeah, maybe I'll be singing a different tune in about an hour...

Day 1 Downside: The Disney channel is going to make me vomit blood by the end of the weekend.
