Last Thursday, Ani & Alberto invited us to a Chicago Blackhawks game....in a SUITE! I love hanging out with Ani and Al, but the last thing I want to do on a freezing weeknight is hang out at the United Center during a hockey game.....HOWEVER, Al got 4 tickets for the 5/3 Bank suite and that changed my entire perspective on hockey on a freezing weeknight! The parking pass he got put us practically right at the door, we had free food and drinks the entire time, when I got chilly, I could go inside the suite and watch the game on the TV in there....much like flying first class, once you experience it, you never want to go back. :) Oh, and the Blackhawks lost 1-0. But there was a fight (see picture below).
All I wanted to see was a fight. Of course, the fight was at the other end of the rink, but you can still see a stick on the ground and a glove tossed to the side. And it hadn't gotten too bad yet, since 2 of the refs are just standing there watching....
The suite was at one end of the rink, but it was the lower suite so we had a really good view.
