Happy Birthday, Chris!

Last Saturday night was the night of Chris. :) We started out with dinner at Greek Islands, which if you like Greek food (and I LOVE Greek food!), I think Greek Islands is one of the best in Greektown. Chris, his wife, Missy, their son, CJ, Sam, Helmut, Tanya, Kieran, myself and Missy's friends, Dana & Paul, all went for dinner. After dinner, we had champagne at Chris & Missy's place. Then it all went downhill from there for Chris. :)
We went to Innjoy because Sam's girlfriend, Lauren, was driving back from New Jersey (straight through!) and when she got into town, she was meeting friends there. I am still amazed that she was able to drive 18 hours, partially through mountains in PA, and still want to head out to a crazy bar like Innjoy. Ah, to be younger than me. :) Me and Helmut, Chris in the background -- one of the few shots that was captured without his tongue hanging out. He clearly didn't know that a picture was being taken....it was his theme all night with the pictures, as you can see below....

After Innjoy, we headed to Beaumont's (yes, we did - it was a bad idea)....we danced for awhile, and Kieran and I got home around 4 or 4:30. I had to work bond court the next morning. Nothing like dealing with smelly men in a crowded lockup area, many of whom are either drunk or dope sick, when you're hungover and tired. That day couldn't get over soon enough!
