Happy Halloween (but still no pumpkin pics...)

So this past weekend, Kieran and I decided to host an engagement party for Becky and Mitch. The only weekend that seemed to work for everyone's schedule was the weekend right before Halloween. Many of you know how much I LOVE Halloween....so I had to put my festive spin on an engagement party. As you can see, the couple of honor did not dress up, but some of our friends did. The party was a success!
I can't really say what I am dressed up as....it was supposed to be a vampire originally, but my fangs would not stay in for anything so I squirted some blood here and there (eyes, ears, and nose) and opted for a.....victim of some senseless beating? Not quite sure, but I had a blast with the liquid blood, the blood capsules you squeeze out of your mouth, and the face paint. Looking back, I should have worn my wedding dress or something like that and been a "Corpse Bride"....ah well.....next year!

The couple of honor, Mitch and Becks. How cute!! But not as cute as my blood dripping table cloth there in the background, hmmm? :)

My pals - Ani (she and Alberto dressed up as Jackie O and JFK, although Alberto just looked like he was going to work with a sort of different hairstyle....in poor taste, we suggested he create a bullet hole with some of my makeup but he was not having it), Emil (cowboy, although we called him "Brokeback Emil"), and me.

Helmut (as the Gordon's Fisherman) and Sam (who didn't dress up, but I called him Kanye West all night).

Tonight, I have been answering the door to the cutest little kids trick-or-treating....they are so dang cute! It makes me want one to dress up for Halloween. :)

(OH YEAH -- we have a NEW digital camera! my pumpkin shots are still on the disposable, so hopefully I will get that developed soon.)
