1. I have had 2 jury trials within a one-week time period. This has made me super-busy and kind of crabby.
2. My husband turned 27 yesterday. Happy Birthday, Kieran! Since I am still currently in the middle of a jury trial, we didn't do much to celebrate. I brought him home McDonalds (his request), I worked on my closing argument, and had a mini-meltdown. Then I was ok. We're going to dinner on Thursday with Becky and Mitch to celebrate his birthday...and I got him his favorite cologne.
3. Saturday we attended Helmut's brother, Steve's, wedding here in Chicago....after I ran 15 miles and had another, bigger meltdown in the process. It was my worst run ever. By the time we arrived at the wedding reception, I was ready to have some wine and forget about the run. I had some wine and forgot about more than my run, for sure! :) Below are pics from the wedding.

Group shot! It was a fun night....even though I forgot parts of it. :) I can't update my running from home - for whatever reason my computer doesn't let me log on so I will add my numbers later today. Cuz you all care, I know!

Sounds like it's been a fun time for you! I was back in Galesburg for the weekend and actually ran Saturday. That was the first time ever that I ran in the burg that wasn't for gym class, wasn't for a sport, wasn't for practice. It was kind of cool. I only went about 2 miles, but hey! Better than nothing, right?
