Again, no excuses for the blog slacking, other than I've been dealing with some tough emotions and just haven't felt like getting on the computer for a fake-happy update. I'm ok, I'm over it, and I'm back to my snarky self.
Wow, it's March already. I cannot believe it, the winter is actually flying by and I usually don't say that about winter. We've been here and there busy with little things, but nothing too monumental or crazy going on in our lives. Mom came up last weekend. My friend Heather also came up because we had a memorial to go to in the south suburbs. College friends our age (brothers) -- their mother passed away suddenly. So sad - she was only 63. I had yesterday off work so I went to a yoga class on Sunday night with girlfriends (followed by wine and cheese at a wine bar in my neighborhood, which was super, I'd never been before, and I'll be back!) and another yoga class yesterday. Today, my body was all, "Girl, what are you thinking?? You don't do yoga!" I am SO SORE!! but I loved this yoga studio (also in our neighborhood) so I'll be back once I can walk right again... Skimping on my miles, I know, but I'm still going for it... mathematically I think I can still achieve my goal.
As for the rest of the month, we leave for New Orleans soon and I have some AWESOME NEWS I can't share yet, but once I can, I'll be blabbing all over the place!! :) ---- no, I'm not pregnant.

So glad you, avid runner, is getting your booty kicked by yoga...this working out business is killing me (think 3 yrs of doing nothing!! i totally blame grae)...and i mean killing me!! Days 1 and 2 I couldn't sit down withouth falling into my chair my thighs were so sore!! I'm thinking I might give it up for lent! Because HELLO, I am not going to know anybody on vacation and I can't speak french so will have no idea that they are talking about the flabby girl! :) As for your news...I have a guess and I think I am right 100%...however considering I will keep my mouth zipped but will tell you if I was right once you tell!
i hope you're moving to galesburg... even though i'm trying to move to Kewanee....
