It's been busy here in Chicago - I have had a couple jury trials (one winner, one second place), Kieran and I went to the Taste of Chicago with Jason (he'd never been to the food frenzy that is the Taste), World Cup madness (never cared before I was married to a European), and.... a baby on the way! Holy crap, right? When I said "busy" in the title, I really meant busy! :)
We found out before I ran the MC200, but *we* didn't tell many people (now, Jason, on the other hand, told the entire Seminary Street Pub one night a couple weekends ago)...I had my first ultrasound this morning and it's so far, so good. So I thought I should confirm the worst kept secret since Ashley Simpson's nose job... I am knocked up. And it has been making me exhausted (not much running since the MC200) and sick and just not wanting to do much more than nap.
Baby Spelman is due February 2011.

Congrats Sarah!! I have been waiting for the "official" announcement! I don't go out much but the one recent night I did I heard your secret...your life is officially changed FOREVER...it's starts with the alcohol withdrawl! Super excited for you!! We are working our way to my #3..our #4!! Yes, it's ok to call me stupid, crazy..whatever you wish! :)

I'm beyond excited for you!!! I was sort of wondering when we were chatting about babies at lunch but I never want to ask. You and Kieran will be such wonderful parents! Huge hugs and congrats from us!

We are so excited for yall! This stage with little ones are some of my favorite and best times in life so far. Couldn't be more thrilled for both of you!
