Just Aksin'

is getting a pet without your spouse's knowledge and/or consent grounds for divorce?

because I'm really wanting a puppy or a kitty right about now.......

(i meant to write "aksin" --- my clients say it and it makes me laugh every time)

Think HARD....real HARD! This puppy is the root of my anxiety attacks these days. It's so much work. He had his first accident in his kennel last night. So I have a load of wash started and I now need to give him a bath after I take the kids to school. Not what I needed this morning. I know he will be worth it someday.....but SO MUCH WORK. And, I do think you need the blessing of your husband! Good Luck!

if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. is there a masculine version of that statement? let's be honest, i think we all know that sarah probably wears the pants.

and my brother can give you a lesson in history about how aksin' is the right way to say that word. i'm sure it's entirely accurate.

I'm afraid that needs to be a team decision. And while puppies are cute, they are a LOT of work. We got an older dog (she was about 6 months old) instead of a puppy. She had one accident in the house because she couldn't figure out where the back door was to scratch to be let out. She was already crate and potty trained. WHEW! So I'm a big fan of older pups or rescue dogs!

I will say, it's great to have a dog around! They're such good companions!
