I will post pics, I promise, but I'm at work now. It's been a busy few days. Kieran's friend, David, arrived on Thursday and his other friend, John, arrived on Saturday. So needless to say, my home has been overrun by boys. :)
Thursday night, I had dinner with my running friend, Chrissy. It was her birthday. Then I met up with Dave and Kieran at Matchbox for a margarita. Friday night, I stayed home and watched more Season 2 of the Tudors by my lonesome while the boys went out. Saturday morning, I ran 18 miles with my running group (relatively pain-free, but had some tummy problems ....I don't know if it was the Gu or the humidity). After running, we went to Joe's on Weed St. (fun times but, sadly, now I think I am a little old for Joes) to watch Illinois SUCK IT UP! I was so excited to show Dave the frenzied college football bar atmosphere but then when my team doesn't come through, it's very sad. A few more bars after Joes and Sarah was a tired kitten, considering she had no nap after her run. Sunday, we went to the CELLBLOCK to watch the White Sox lose to the Red Sox. I am not a White Sox fan, so I was kinda glad to see them lose to Boston. But I didn't tell my fellow companions that - we were with David's cousin, who got us the tickets and who's a Sox fan. Yes, sometimes, I know when to shut my mouth. I got a wicked sunburn and we headed to a couple south side bars (fun) after the game. Yesterday, it's fair to say that I was partied out. McDonald's for lunch, sushi for dinner (thai food, too, for the boys - I saved my curry for dinner tonight and just ate my sushi) and I was off to bed*. I'm heading to court today, I have the busiest day in store. But today is my only and last day of work - I am at a CLE seminar the rest of the week. No work= cool. But seminar is Oakbrook, therefore I will be going postal in my first and hopefully ONLY commute ever = not so cool.
* if by going to bed, I meant making the conscious decision to begin re-reading the Twilight series yet again, despite having piles of unread books on my nightstand and downloaded in my Kindle. I am an utter and complete loser, obsessed with Edward Cullen.

sooo...i've made it through 1, 2 and 3...afraid to read 4 because I heard it is horrible. Your thoughts? And just what does one think about when running 18 miles???!?!?!?!?!
#4 wasn't my favorite, but I can't say it was horrible. when you're done, i'll tell you my "WTF" moments. honestly, when i'm running 18, i think of all the crap i can eat and drink for the rest of the day....that, and why do i continually do this to myself. :) happy reading! let me know what you think....
