St. Paddy's with the Irish...

Kieran's sister, Ailish, and her friends Fiona and Lisa came over for a week during the Chicago St. Patrick's celebration. It was so much fun having them stay with us. The Saturday before St. Patrick's day is usually when everyone goes out up here and we were no different....we headed out around 3 pm (after eating a substantial lunch at Stanley's...no need to throw up and/or pass out by 6 pm!) and met my friends at Bernies. Too bad they had been there since noon, they were toast. We stayed at Bernies - Sam, his brother and his friends met us there - then we went to Galway Bay after that.
Ailish, Fiona, me and Lisa....they got me a matching shirt, but it revealed too much muffin-top, so I opted for a looser fitting shirt. Still green. It said "I love Ireland"....which I do. The girls' shirts said "C.I.A. - Cute, Irish and Adorable"
Lisa and Ailish at Bernies....
Another action shot at Bernies.....
We were in the heated, covered beer garden at Bernies and it was a nice day, even though there was some breeze coming through the tarps or whatever enclosed the beer garden. Not cold, but sometimes chilly. Kelly, though, thought it was below zero in Alaska.....
Ailish and Lisa...after Lisa was found....(she went outside to talk on her cell phone and Fiona and I were searching the bar for her...including the women's bathroom, which got ugly when some drunk girls thought we were cutting in line)
Sibling love.
Fiona had about enough when we got to Galway Bay....and then again in the cab ride home.....
The girls at Galway Bay...Fiona was not to thrilled to be woken up from her bar nap.
Lisa dancing by herself....dunno why, maybe she was happy to be Irish....
