Alaina's Birthday Party

Last Saturday was Alaina's 4th Birthday Party. The theme was a "goody bag party" and she had a goody bag cake that Nicole made (and it looked awesome!) and she handed out goody bags to her guests. Well, the kid-guests. Kieran didn't get a goody bag, but he kept asking her where his goody bag was and it was cute how she was explaining to him that the goody bags were only for kids.
The kids also got to decorate their own cupcakes...Alaina and her cupcake pre-decoration....

Did I say that the kids were decorating cupcakes???? :) I made one with green sprinkles for St. Patrick's Day in honor of Kieran. It was good. And I ate a lot of frosting.

Ok, this is the only picture I got of Alaina opening her gifts because when she started opening them, all the other kids gathered around her and it resembled a very non-violent mob scene to see what Alaina was opening next. I wasn't about to break that up for fear that I would be overtaken by the youngsters and put on time-out. :)
